Exercise Physiologist

Position Type: Full-time, Part-time

Location: Oakland, CA

Overview: We're seeking driven Exercise Physiologists to join our team in Oakland, CA. In this role, your primary responsibilities include designing evidence-based stretch programs, assessing client flexibility and posture, and promoting and selling stretch services. You will also provide one-on-one assisted stretching sessions to ensure safe, effective execution and support clients in building sustainable mobility and wellness habits.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement individualized stretch programs tailored to client needs
  • Conduct flexibility and posture assessments to guide program development
  • Promote and sell stretch services to new and existing clients
  • Deliver safe, effective one-on-one stretching sessions
  • Educate clients on sustainable mobility habits and proper stretching techniques
  • Lead and participate in community wellness initiatives to strengthen HT DeepStretch's professional reputation
  • Maintain accurate client progress notes and ensure a clean, organized studio environment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, or related field
  • Certification in Exercise Physiology (ACSM, NSCA, or equivalent) preferred
  • Experience with assisted stretching and mobility assessment techniques
  • Strong understanding of human anatomy, biomechanics, and exercise science
  • Excellent communication and client education skills
  • Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends

Compensation:

  • Base Pay: $35/hour
  • Sales Bonus: Commission for selling stretch packages
  • Performance Bonus: Additional bonus based on client volume and outcomes

Stretch Therapist

Position Type: Part-time or Full-time

Location: Oakland, CA

Compensation: $40/hour + sales bonus + performance bonus

Overview

HT DeepStretch Studio is seeking a passionate and skilled Stretch Therapist to provide one-on-one assisted stretching sessions that improve mobility, recovery, and overall well-being. We welcome both part-time and full-time candidates who are dedicated to helping clients move and feel better.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized assisted stretching sessions for clients
  • Assess mobility limitations and tailor sessions accordingly
  • Apply advanced stretching techniques (PNF, dynamic, static, assisted stretching)
  • Maintain accurate client notes and progress records
  • Educate clients on proper stretching habits and mobility practices
  • Support injury prevention, recovery, and long-term mobility goals

Requirements

  • No degree required; background in sports, fitness, kinesiology, or rehabilitation preferred
  • Certification not required; stretching certification or at least 1 year of professional stretching experience is a strong plus
  • Solid understanding of stretching methods and mobility protocols
  • Excellent hands-on skills and ability to assess client needs
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and educate clients
